Athwal Resourcing is currently seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a SME manufacturing company in Oldbury. Working within a small finance team you will be maintaining all aspects of the Purchase Ledger and ensure that all suppliers are paid in a timely and accurate manner, in line with the company’s controls and procedures.
Reporting to the Accounts Manager, your duties will include:
Inputting purchase invoices and process monthly credit card expenses;
Matching invoices to purchase orders
Reconcile monthly supplier statements;
Ensuring invoices are processed with correct VAT rate;
Month end reports relating to purchase ledger;
Liaise with the purchasing department to process debit notes;
Handle internal and external enquires;
Adhoc duties as required within the finance department.
You will ideally possess the following:
Experience of high volume purchase Ledger processing;
Good telephone manner and excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Attention to detail;
Be able to resolve issues and willingness to challenge the status quo;
Manage their own workload and prioritise
Enjoy working in a small company environment.
