Sales & Marketing Director

Are you an aspiring Sales and Marketing Manager or a proven Sales and Marketing Director looking for a new challenge? If so, Athwal Resourcing has a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Sales Director or Manager to head up the Commercial side of the business – based on the outskirts of Wolverhampton. Sales have grown year on year, so with new investment into the Senior Leadership team and the introduction of a new business ERP system, the business is looking to strengthen its position within the landscaping sector across the UK.

As Sales and Marketing Director you will have full control and responsibility for leading all sales and marketing duties within the organisation. You will be instrumental in developing, agreeing, and delivering the long-term Sales and Marketing strategy for the business. Initially, you will look at improving the current working practices within the existing sales team; end to end sales processes, enhancing the current sales activities – both volume and profitability. Whilst providing inspirational leadership to the Sales and Marketing team in line with the company vision, establishing and holding employees to clear standards of performance. Longer term, as part of the Senior Board you will be working to maximise shareholder return; continuously looking to identify new trends and opportunities, penetrating & developing new sales channels, reappraising marketing tools within the company, to ensure the company is leading edge and has a competitive advantage.
